Why Pledge?

One question that we often take to God is for guidance on setting the priorities in our lives. This is the same with our finances - please only give if you feel called to.
CONGREGATIONS
Most church congregations survive by receiving pledges from parishioners. Since we are an on-line church, we are all part of this congregation and we survive on gifts! We worship together and are on a faith journey together, let us support each other however we are able.
WHY DO CHURCHES HAVE PLEDGE DRIVES?
A pledge allows the church to anticipate income and make a budget!
The other reason is spiritual. For many people, pledging something to their faith community is a spiritual discipline and commitment.
Most churches ask their members to pledge from 1% to 10% of their income to the church. No donation is too small, we'll even take .01% ;)
Pledging is an important decision, spiritually and financially. We understand that times can be trying with the state of our world. Of course, we don't require you to pledge - or to give a particular amount!
We only ask that you pray and bring God into your process of making decisions about giving in whatever ways you can.
